YouTube Tuesday: Sugar the Bitter Truth by Dr. Robert Lustig

I found this video towards the beginning of my weight loss journey, but I find I need to watch it occasionally to remind myself why I shouldn't eat to much sugar.  I don't think sugar is the whole answer to the health puzzle, but it certainly does play a role.  One of the many takeaways I got from this is how fiber works to counteract the effects of fructose which is why eating whole fruit is much better than eating something with added fructose.  To quote Dr. Lustig, "When God made the poison, He packaged it with the antidote."
